Martingo Dash - Navy Blue

This is a really nice no-pull harness with a martingale front d-ring. It fits my dog well so the sizing is roughly accurate to their measurements, and you can adjust all the relevant straps for custom fit. The clasps are nice sturdy plastic and hold well, and the d-rings are attached securely and feel sturdy too. There is a slightly padded loop handle on the back which is convenient though maybe a little bit bigger in circumference then it needs to be. My only critique is that the straps are a bit slick and when my dog pulls intensely (like when prey drive takes over and she tries to launch after a squirrel) the straps can force themselves to loosen slightly over time. It doesn't seem to ever be enough to make the harness unsafe or unusable, but requires consistent readjustment after rougher walks. If there was a way to get the weave to be slightly more grippy this would likely not happen at all, so that's my only critique. The colour is very fun and vibrant.

Everything about this harness and leash is stunning! Faded rainbow blue to purple to fuchsia, the quality of the fabrics and stitching, the thickness and comfort level for the dog and all of the special details. They even label which part is for the belly and which part is for the neck.
We are using it on a 65 lb Australian Shepherd and he has all the settings set to the smallest- which was a first for us. I would say the rainbow version is for medium/large & extra large dogs. Very easy to put on and take off.
I was a bit confused by the design of the leash (the instructions didn't go over that part), as I'm used to walking two dogs - it looked like a leash for walking two dogs ???��? however, I don't believe it is for that purpose. I think you're supposed to attach one clip to the chest ring and one clip to the back ring and have full control of your dog at your side. Our dogs are fairly well trained to walk beside each other, in front of us, so I'm not sure how much I will use the leash. It does not extend straight out, like a normal leash, because of the clasps and D rings. If you were training a dog to walk politely this would be ideal.

What a terrific harness. The quality is evident as soon as you open the package and check out the stitching, the material, the clips, the D-rings, etc. The harness is very well constructed of high quality components. It might take a little bit of getting used to if you've never used a Martingale type harness before, but once you've put it on and taken it off a few times, it's easy peasy and you'll wonder why you wondered.

It really does a nice job of keeping your doggo reined in while walking on a leash. The way the straps are connected, if your doggo pulls on the leash, the harness provides a very gentle correction that the doggo can readily interpret and follow. In no time at all, the doggo understands that walking without pulling is what you're asking them to do, and it becomes second nature to the doggo in no time. I'm very pleased with this harness. I followed the size chart and it fits my doggo perfectly. There is also a handle on the top that you can grab if necessary, or you can use it to help your dog on stairs or into your vehicle, etc. They really did think of everything.

Definitely a really nice harness that does exactly what it is supposed to do. The quality is excellent so it should last a good long time, too. Terrific product at a great price; what's not to love?

I really like this harness. Our Doggo Argentino mix is a big boy and sometimes on walks he'll make a sudden lunge to something in the ditch. This can quickly pull you off balance so having a harness with a front-clip pivots his body instead of pulling you into the ditch with him. I like that the underside of the harness is a soft material so, hopefully, it's more comfortable for him. The handle at the top is also nice in that it give you a way to hold him close without having to be pulling on the leash. It was aslo easy to adjust once I had it on him.

The size 4 fits out 6 month standard poodle mix perfectly and there is plenty of room for her to grow. I love this design and especially appreciate the handle for moments when I need to quickly get control or redirect when we’re on walks.
